The Heart of a Small Town
The Mathews Farmers Market is a great spot to add to your things to do when visiting the inn. In fact, our advice to weekend travelers: always stop by the local farmers’ market when you’re visiting a small town. You are bound to meet some of the friendliest, hard-working folk of the county. Many visitors are just tickled silly by the crafts and goodies that you can find unique to each town. A farmers market is more than buying fresh items, or meeting local farmers and artisans, it’s a social gathering place.
