Cranberry Casserole – The Perfect Fall Dish

Serves: 6

Nothing screams Fall more than a warm, hearty cranberry casserole dish.  This makes for a rich addition to a Thanksgiving meal, big breakfast, or to bring as desert to a social gathering. This recipe requires very little prep time and effort — we love to keep it simple.  Enjoy!

Ingredients:

½ cup Brown Sugar

½ cup White Sugar

1 cup Oatmeal

½ tsp.  Cinnamon

3 Tbs. Flour

1 Cup Whole Cranberries

¼ Cup Chopped Pecans

3 Apples Diced

1 Stick butter

Directions: 

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Mix dry ingredients first, then add fruit and nuts. Place in lightly greased casserole dish. 
  3. Melt butter and add to the top of casserole and mix. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
