Nothing says “Welcome” like being handed a glass of wine at our Saturday Happy Hour. Every late Saturday afternoon this Virginia Bed and Breakfast hosts a wine and cheese social for all our guests. It’s a great way for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us and your fellow guests. There are always lots of laughs, fun, and interesting conversation. Oh, and there’s also snacks and wine! Not feeling up to mingling? That’s ok too! Take your cheese board and wine and retreat to a quiet spot around the Inn or back to your room.
During Saturday Happy Hour we gather out on the screened-in back porch (when weather permits) or the back “pub” room when it’s a little too chilly. Either place, you get to watch one of our many spectacular sunsets over that very same water. Our library is also a cozy spot during the winter to gather and chat.
Most importantly, however, we all get to enjoy each other’s company. We have never had a bad time no matter what varying types of personalities or ages happen to be here. Who knows? You just might make a friend or two!
