Every September The Mathews Seafood Festival is held at Williams Wharf Landing on the East River. Our local hometown seafood market, The Seafood Shack are the hosts of this awesome waterfront festival!
The Mathews Seafood Festival is hosted by Mathews own hometown seafood market. The Seafood Shack hosts this annual seafood festival, and it is a fan favorite for locals and visitors!
Enjoy seafood and BBQ at this years festival. Fried oysters, steamed shrimp, clams, crabs and oysters, and Va smoked BBQ with all the fixin’s. Additional drink tickets available from beer/wine vendor.
There will be live music against the beautiful back drop of the East River at Historic William’s Wharf Landing. The festival also features local craft vendors so make sure you bring cash as there will be no cards or ATM’s available at the Wharf! The fun is all for a good cause and supports our first responders.
This years festival is scheduled for September 23rd, from 3pm-9pm. Tickets go on sale July 1st.
Music at this years festival will be provided by Good Shot Judy and The 7th Street Band. Bring your dancing shoes ‘cuz these folks know how to bring the tunes.
The Seafood Shack is run by Rob Martin and Amy Hudgins. The Seafood Shack Restaurant 10744 Buckley Hall Road, Mathews across from the Mathews M&M Building Supply.
