Due to surges in COVID-19 cases statewide, we have made some big changes and will be operating in a different way from November 2020 through April 2021 in order to keep everyone as safe as possible. The good news is we plan on remaining open in the safest way possible! Please take the time to read our latest update.
Guest Rooms and Suites:
Through the end of November, only one room in the main house will be available for booking. Online, it will only show the West Billups room as maybe being available, but you can switch to the Captains room if desired. Friends or Family that are comfortable being with each other may rent out a second or even third in the main house, just contact us directly via phone or email.
From December 2020 through April 15, 2021, the main house will be available for a “Whole House Rental” only with the 3 rooms upstairs, and full use of downstairs and kitchen for families or “pods” that are seeking a remote waterfront getaway. The Bayside Suite
The Bayside Suite has always been our most popular suite, but since re-opening June 1, 2020 it has been almost constantly booked. This suite is ideal for a remote getaway with private entrance and porch, open floorplan, big screen TV with cable and free Netflix, designer electric fireplace, deluxe whirlpool tub for two with waterfall, lights, and multiple jets, and small kitchen area ideal for meal preparation. This suite also has a private waterfront patio area with gas grill, firepit, patio seating, and patio heater for those colder nights.
Guests staying in the Bayside Suite will not have access to main house, (unless related to guests renting the whole house), but will have access to all outside areas such as our private dock, gaming areas that include Bocce court, cornhole, horseshoe pit, and new disk golf practice baskets as well as kayaks and canoe. The Bayside suite is still available for online booking. Please contact us directly to enquire about special rates for stays 3 days or longer.
East River Suite & The Chesapeake Suite
After receiving feedback that guests appreciated a “safe space” with separate entrance where they could prepare simple meals and enjoy a private waterfront patio area inspired us to make a few changes to our other 2 suites: The Chesapeake Suite and The East River Suite.
Kitchenettes Now in Suites
East River Suite The Chesapeake Room East River Suite
We have added small kitchenette units to both Chesapeake Suite and East River Suite, that have a mini fridge/freezer, sink, small prep area and 2 stovetop burners as well storage for cookware, dishes, utensils, etc. Basic spices are also stocked as well as a small microwave and Keurig coffee maker with regular and decaf coffee pods. The kitchenette units are in the sitting room areas of each suite, where we have also added 43” smart TVs with free YouTubeTV for streaming live network shows, sports, movies, etc. Log into your Amazon or Netflix accounts to stream shows as well if you like. In the closet area of sitting rooms, you will also find a rolling table unit for two with stools for dining or setting up your laptop to work or attend meetings with our free high-speed internet.
Private Patios

Just around the back of the suites, we have added private waterfront patio areas to each suite with gas grill for cooking up some delicious steaks or local seafood, a gas firepit with rocker swivel chairs for enjoying a glass of wine at sunset or observing the wildlife along our quiet creek, and a propane patio heater to stay extra toasty while hanging outside. Guests staying in the suites will not have access to main house, (unless related to guests renting the whole house), but will have access to all outside areas such as our private dock, gaming areas that include Bocce court, cornhole, horseshoe pit, and new disc golf practice baskets as well as kayaks and canoe.

The Tabbs Room
From December 2020 through April 15th 2021, The Tabbs Room will only be available to book if also booking any of the suites, or the whole main house rental. Since that room is a little smaller, it was harder to make it more “self-sufficient”, but we did add a 32” Smart TV with free YouTubeTV for streaming live network shows, sports, movies, etc. Log into your Amazon or Netflix accounts to stream shows as well if you like. We also added a small microwave in addition to the mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker already in the room. For a really nice price you can book it to add some friends or family members to your “Pod” staying either in one of the suites or the main house.
Please call or email us directly to enquire about availability for this room as it will not show up on our availability calendar on our online booking engine. Guests staying in the Tabbs Room will not have access to main house, (unless related to guests renting the whole house), but will have access to all outside areas such as our private dock, gaming areas that include Bocce court, cornhole, horseshoe pit, and new disc golf practice baskets as well as kayaks and canoe.

BREAKFAST:
We know you all LOVE our breakfasts, but unfortunately the only way we could figure out how to move forward with our new model, we just cannot do breakfast in the same way we have done before. We plan on continuing providing full breakfast through the end of November 2020 and a few week ends where we had already gotten booked in December 2020 either delivered or for contactless pick up.
For those that rent out the main house as a whole house rental, there is a full gourmet kitchen at your disposal. For all those that book any of the suites, there are small kitchenette units and gas grills located on your private patio.
We will provide a “continental breakfast” already stocked in your room consisting of our delicious homemade granola which is both vegan and gluten free, yogurt, fruit, and some local farm fresh eggs to scramble, fry or however you like them! You will also have plenty of delicious as well as eco-friendly coffee pods, as well as some granola bars and microwave popcorn for snacks. You will also be welcomed into your getaway with a complimentary cheese board to nosh on as you begin to unwind with a much-needed change of scenery!
CHECK IN:
We are only doing self-check in during these times, but please know that we are HERE! We are happy to say “Hello” and a quick introduction and catch up from a distance and be on call for anything you may need. Please contact us for the latest information on dining opportunities in town as well as suggestions for outdoor activities. We are also happy to assist with any shopping needed, especially for those with longer stays.
ENHANCED CLEANING:
We have partnered with EcoLab for advanced training and the best commercial disinfecting product currently available and proven to destroy the COVID-19 virus as well as all other common viruses within 45 seconds of contact. Please see all our enhanced cleaning protocols below:
~As soon as guests leave, room will be aired out for several hours as well as completely sprayed with commercial disinfectant and left for an hour longer.
~ALL linens including sheets, blankets, mattress covers, pillow protectors and pillowcases, towels, will then be removed and laundered in hot water and dried in180 degree dryer to kill bacteria and virus.
~ALL glassware, coffee mugs, reusable glass water bottles, etc. will be replaced with fresh and sanitized dishware weather it appeared that they were used or not.
~After thorough cleaning with commercial disinfectant, room will then once again be sanitized with commercial grade disinfectants afterwards on all room surfaces, furniture, fabrics, floors as well as all “touch points” such as light switches, doorknobs, remotes, faucet handles, etc. on our way out of room.
~As also recommended by CDC, our Daily Housekeeping/straightening will be suspended to minimize contact, but we will do so safely upon request and will arrange for a more extensive cleaning for rooms booked 3 nights or more with same guests unless otherwise requested.
~Extra blankets, towels, and other supplies will be easily accessible by guests on upon request. Any trash or recycling can be left outside along with any dirty dishes for us to pick up after breakfast hours.
~Trash and recycling receptacles are also located on kitchen side of main house of Inn.
